as promised. my oaty peach crumble for less than £1.20 serving 3 people

yeah, thats 40p each, very cool


tescos custard is 7p a pack, so for 3 peeps you will need 2 packets

2 tins of peaches - 47p each

open them up and pop in a oven proof dish


then in a mixing bowl, put a table spoon of margarine, 2 table spoons of sugar and 3 generous handfuls of porridge oats.

porridge oats are 54p for a pack, but you wont use it all.

this is the fun part, mix them all up with your hands, until you have no lumps of margarine and the sugar hidden in the oats.

place the whole mix onto of the peaches.

put the crumble in the oven on gas mark 6 and savour the smells for twenty minutes.

the custard is simple enough, just boil the kettle as the custard is hot water only.

and Voila, yummy

and doesnt dent your pocket either
